But, eSpotting has taken the cake by denying all but ten of the 160 search terms that are accepted elsewhere. Add to that a less-than-intuitive user interface, sketchy reporting, and seemingly-disinterested support. And I was told eSpotting was key to the UK market. I guess I'll give OvertureUK a shot.
I had a similar situation with Espotting too. They accepted all my terms then two weeks later they sent another mail stating that they dropped all but two of them. The two they left were as general as you could get on my targets. The rest of the keywords were not "specific" enough so they dropped them.
I didn't worry about it anyway since I was only receiving about 50-100 hits a day total which just didn't cut it.
When I looked closely at the reasons for rejection I had to agree with eSpotting. Relevancy is the order of the day. You only have to browse the different forums at WmW to see the problems that non relevant listings are creating on SE's that show PPC results.
I am sure that when I resubmit my listings that have been modified to comply, that they will be accepted.
The more other submitters find the submission guidelines onerous and give up, the more profitable my listings will become.
Heck, if I was getting 50 - 100 clicks I'd be making good money.
