I was going to add this to the current thread about dubious affiliates and possible click fraud, but I thought a new thread might be better.

Based on comments in the other thread, does Overture ignore the supposed million search per month minimum in setting up affiliates?

I'm working with a site that is supported mainly by ads and affiliate sales. Some modest Overture income would be kind of handy, particularly with some on-topic, preset searches. The search volume will be way, way below a million, though. (Even if the site owner's kids click on everything like crazy!! Just kidding... ;) )

So, should I contact Overture anyway? Or should I look into signing on with an Overture affiliate? If an affiliate approach is the only way to go, can anyone suggest a likely one that offers a good percent and also has fast & accurate accounting systems? (Speaking of affiliate accounting, Amazon has been running as much as 14 days behind lately. Very hard to tweak your marketing when you don't know what is working. They are caught up at the moment.)

Depends whether you want to use Overture (US) or Overture (UK). I think UK will take sites that can send 100,000 queries and the US one does seem to stick at 1,000,000 - however, we've never used them.

Give em a go though, can't do any harm.
