Snap's top three listings on the second page of results are now provided by goto. It looks like everyone now wants some of goto's money.

looks bad, too --or this is one HECK of a Friday slump. No traffic from NBCi, everything now google-based.

That link takes me to the first page of results but I still don't see the goto results unless I go to the next page.

I wonder what could be causing us to see two different sets of results?

IE5 goto results here [nbci.com] on 1st page. They don't always come up on all searches I've found.

No, Bill and I are on very good terms. Last year, he even left his personal jet on the tarmac here at the municipal airport (about 2 miles from the house) and let some of the local kids have a tour. (not kidding) I kept waiting for the doorbell to ring (Hi, I'm Bill Gates. RC, I've seen your name alot on the web, I'm here to personally ask you to get off.), but I guess he was just too busy that time.

It looks like it's browser related, when I use IE on my machine they're on the first page, but when I use netscape 4.73 they're on the second page. And then when I use netscape 4.7 they're on the first page sometimes.

check out my screen shots from NS 4.73
1st page of results [webolutions.com]
2nd page of results [webolutions.com]

It looks like they're experimenting with the placement some more.
There now on the right hand side of the page (instead of the top) with some browsers.

on "San Jose hotels"
NS4 has them on the right, IE5 has them on the bottom

It also seems to vary by keyword. Some keywords at top, some at bottom, some to the right. All that in the same browser.

My guess is that they are just measuring the click thrus, and serving the placement by random.
But how would I know, the SE's drove me crazy months ago... But I learned to type with my nose. The straitjacket is kinda limiting..
