On all of the sites that use Inktomi I rate #1 for the appropriate keywords....except goto. My site does not appear at all in the goto listings.
Do they have their own seperate db from everyone else?

I remember that for one week my page did appear in the results but that was a long time ago.

Cest la vie.

I have the same impression. Our sites rank fine for several keywords / keyword phrases on Inktomi, but not so fine on GOTO for the same searches.

We have the impression that GOTO give preferences to the NOT-PAID Inktomi listings (URLS that Inktomi crawled itself) and that the used Inktomi database is very old.

In any case the (free) GOTO databases is sometimes strange; we noticed one of our site listed with an old title and with the description got from the page (from what you can see in the page): what it is strange is that clicking on it you get an error (it is not clickable) and the URL address showed after the description is completely wrong; it is an URL of another web site that doesn'work at all!

Does somebody know the GoTo algo?
