Phillip Thune, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, said, "As expected with a 136% increase in paid click-throughs delivered to our advertisers versus the third quarter of 2000, our average revenue per paid click-through for the fourth quarter stayed roughly flat at $0.11. With continued rapid growth in our distribution partnerships in the first quarter of 2001, and with our distribution agreement with Excite expected to launch early in the second quarter of 2001, we believe this metric will be down somewhat in the first half of 2001. However, over the long-term, as more and more online advertisers realize the benefits of bidding for position in search results, thereby creating a more active auction environment, we anticipate average revenue per paid click-through will rise. Overall, we expect revenue to increase approximately 50% from the fourth quarter of 2000 to the first quarter of 2001. We also believe that we will begin generating cash from operations in the third quarter of 2001. Unlike many other online advertising vehicles, we do not see dark days ahead."
