YSM Conversion Stats

Overture and Google Analytics not matching up

Is there any reason that GA and YSM conversions never match up? It seems every time I compare the two GA is always reporting fewer conversions than YSM. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just expect YSM to over report the conversions?

last month overture said i had 1 more conversion than i really had, so that is not always correct. i wouldn't know about google analytics though.

Hello,

I've been using the tracking hoplink for a Clickbank merchant. This is the link which has both Overture & Google IDs embedded in the link.

It's been reporting well since Mar. 11. However, it has shown zero conversions at Overture PPC, for the last two days (Mar. 16 & 17). I had three sales yesterday, Mar. 17, and three sales last Mar. 16.

Last Mar. 14, I had five sales but Overture stats revealed only one conversion.

Is this happening also to other affiliates? If I was given a separate "thank you" page, will this be better? Pls. advise.
