So you know those keywords you have offline? Well they may not be 100% offline. What do I mean? I saw where I have received 3 clicks this month on a keyword I have had offline for months, so I called and asked them about it. After researh on their end, their tech department admitted that there is an issue where some offline term are in fact receiving clicks and you are being charged for these clicks.

Yahoo's Executive Services Team has told me that a comprehensive review of all accounts will be conducted and if this has happened to you, you will be contacted and credited.

Do you really think that they will accurately find all cases of this? I do not. I would review your accounts at once to protect yourselves.

I did a spot check on one of my 'offline' keywords the other month and it came up for searches. I then informed Overture of this who denied it and strangely enough it hasn't turned up in searches since!

Why are there problems like this? Why don't they let us know? Just another chapter of Yahoo/Overture PPC history...
