It'll be an Engligh only site with English ads (not ideal I know). Will the various Overtures take this in countries where English is not the primary language and how does one go about setting this up - gotta deal with 3 different reps in 3 different countries, or can the US reps do stuff like this?

Any experiences?

Overture UK is pretty quick on the editorials and very similar to the US customer service. From my experience you would have to open seperate accounts for each country. IMO if your targeting europe stick with the UK as overture has a good reach on the UK market. Germany and Spain let us down due to the lack of clicks, so did Austrailia.

We are in NL & DE - both have limited traffic and are expensive per click for our market. I have to fight every month to get to the Euro 25 minimum.

Did the minimum spend change not affect European campaigns? (in the US minimum spends are gone).

I've only handed a handful of non US accounts, but our US reps took care of the bulk uploads and other details for us - we didn't end up having to go through reps for each country.

Are you sure?

We received a minimum amount notice for one of our US accounts in Oct.

We receieved the mid month letter on all three of our European accounts in November - UK, NL & DE.

US announcement here:

[ysearchblog.com...]

We've eliminated the $20 monthly minimum spending requirement for Sponsored Search.

Thanks eWhisper.

That one kind of slid through quietly.

It certainly does NOT apply to Europe as we had two small charges on both NL & UK for November.
