Positive experience setting up new account and getting listed

I recall a couple years ago it used to take OV a couple days or more to approve listings.

Well, I created a new account and submitted 11 listings initially.

OV stated it would take up to 3 business days to approve listings and I expected to wait that long.

To my surprise, all the listings were approved within a few hours.

Thus far I have 68 listings approved on Overture...none denied all approved almost in real time! In fact, I got an e-mail stating that 32 listings were approved at one time.

Does Overture still use only people to approve listings?

The new interface is taking some getting used to, but it's workable.

My only gripe is that I wished the data would update more quickly.

Just thought I'd share my positive experience thus far as I know OV gets a lot of complaints. :)

In addition to staff to review listings they do use some sort of automated process. It is good to see a positive experience with Overture in this forum. When Overture works it works well, unfortunatley when things go wrong it can be VERY frustrating!

I had a similiar experience. Yesterday, I started some new campaigns - all ads were running within 2 hours. Although the interface isn't as intuitive as adwords, it's defintely not as slow as it used to be.

Yes...it has been very smooth.

I now have 84 phrases listed- no problems.

I'm finding it much more economical than adwords.

Be sure to bring up your ads and make sure that Overture hasn't changed the ad copy is some bizare way.

Thanks. I did check every phrase. I did not see a single thing changed in any of the now 99 listings I have.

Yes, Overture does have some sort of automated keyword acception now. Its really quite strange to me, i can get 15 keyword out of 150 approved automatically, but apparently my ad isnt good enough sometimes to get the rest manually approved. Very strange really
