When I'm using the spreadsheet to upload listings, and I add excluded words for that campaign, I've gone in to the individual listings after they've been approved, I notice that each Excluded Word is not applied to the campaign but only to the individual keyword on its same row. For example, I want to create a campaign for "widgets", and enter keywords "widget 1" , "widget 2" and "widget 3". In the Excluded Words column I add "blue widgets", "black widgets", "grey widgets", intending for these to apply to all three keywords. However, after they're approved, in the "Keyword Detail" screen, "widget 1" shows only "blue widgets" under the Excluded Words box; "widget 2" shows only "black widgets"; "widget 3" shows only "grey widgets". Does anyone know a way around this, or is this just a design flaw in their spreadsheet upload system--in other words, are the only choices to go back into each individual listing afterwards and add all the Excluded Words, or not use the spreadsheet at all?
