Would like to promote a small page on PPC

How do I go about this, can it be done affordably?

I'm interested in promoting my relatively new site mytutor.topcities.com on the PPC search engines. However, I am pretty new to this whole thing and if anyone could offer some advice on how to go about this that would be a great help. I think that it is a quality site, I offer physics tutoring through email. I don't think there should be too much competition for keywords/phrases since I want to buy "physics tutoring" and stuff like that. Can this be done affordably??

competition - not much
buy "physics tutoring" - fine but people don't search for that !
Can this be done affordably? - less that 10 cents per paid introduction BUT will it covert?

1) imho, before to attempt to dive traffic via PFP you will need to take a little more time your site. If you run a full page ad in the Sunday paper to draw shoppers to your new store, you would not want empty boxes all over the floor. Spend some more time building out your site. Give many example questions and answers. Get the information about you UP FRONT. Try not to sells stuff on the index page.

Hey, thanks for the info! I'll start working on the site more. Up 'till now I've had almost zilch visitors but I guess, like you said, if I'm really going to start getting traffic I should "renovate" :)
