We are having some concerns with Content Match traffic showing up in our logs. You know the Y! partner sites that show Y! ads on behalf of Y!.
We are seeing referrals from these partner sites surpassing the traffic levels from Yahoo itself in our logs, yet when i contacted Yahoo (which took months and was nothing but a nightmare), they said we haven't been charged for the traffic.
Just wondering why the partner site would be showing our listings for free? Seems a little unlikely to me. So I am wondering if this traffic is just being blended into the other traffic.
I've asked them, but as usual it takes weeks to hear back.
Oh yeah, we've never had content match turned on.
If anyone else out there has been through this, please let me know what you did to deal with it.

How are you identifying that the traffic is coming from Content Match distribution?
Since they say we aren't getting billed for it, I am wondering if the traffic is being lumped in with the traffic we are paying for.
As I said, why would a content match partner waste a listing on someone that's not paying for the clicks when they could be billing someone. Doesn't make sense to me.
