One client of mine is exeriencing the following 2 problems.
1) Various keywords for some reason are not being displayed. We'll have our bids set to 2nd place and other advertisers ads are being displayed, but not my clients ad. This is NOT due to a budgeting issue either. It is an ad serving issue that Yahoo has acknowledged, but not fixed.
2) Sort of tied into the first problem, but in the DTC we have a number of terms where the DTC says were are 1st place...but when I search on Yahoo we are showing up 3 or 4. This is affecting a handful of terms for us.
Anyone else experiencing this? I'd check...you probably don't even know it if it's affecting you.
I called Overture today three times and got three different answers to the issue (imagine that). The most plausable was that their system changes caused it. That those were not actually visitors. That I was overcharged. I was told that a ticket would be put in to the investigation department and I would probably just be refunded the difference between those charges and my average daily charges. The person I spoke with also added that our account was one of many many accounts this had happened to.
I suggest everyone go over their accounts with a fine tooth comb.
Also, the keywords are not lined up in alphabetical order in the manage bids section anymore. Add to that I can't even get to the log in screen at the moment, you can see that it's not going too well today! :(
My account is also being charged several times a day to deposit more money, which is only supposed to happen when it is too low. Right now, my account balance is about 10x higher than my normal deposit amount.
They have something REALLY out of whack with their automated billing process.
No response to an email I sent yesterday. I will be calling.

That's a very hard sell to them; I've successfully pulled it off getting paid for a couple of hours of investigation I did that turned up errors on their end (this was a year ago)...but I had to escalate it very high up. And it was not for a lot of money; I wanted the money based on principle obviously.
