Why can't Yahoo QA the system enhancements they roll out? Everytime there is an 'improvement' as they like to call them, advertisers are inconvenienced and frustrated with absolutely no compensation or remorse by Yahoo.

Your tech team is a joke; your reputation is as low as it can go, your profits are dwindling, and MSN going off on their own will result in greater than 30% layoffs by the end of 2005. Merry X-Mas Yahoo; you did this to yourself.

Whoa partner. I get great service from Overture/Yahoo. You should of been here three years ago before google, service was horrible then. Now, Yahoo knows it's not the only game in town and we get treated MUCH better.

Give credit where credit is due.

With all due respect johnnydequino, I've been in this online advertising medium since 2001. Goto (then Overture and now Yahoo) were much more service oriented. The DTC was reliable and lightening fast until the the major overhaul which occurred in July of 2003 when no one could login for almost a week. Remember that hell everyone went through?

I've worked alongside every level of service Yahoo has to offer, including the Diamond level. The service is horrible and their goal is all about their profit quota. Why else do did they always 'suggest' new term to include and tout 'advanced' match over standard. Why does their system defaul to the maximum bid when you add a new keyword?

Yahoo has a long way to go (if you ask me) when it comes to satisfactory online tools and speed of processing. I'm guessing YOU weren't an advertiser in 2001 with Goto, because those were their best days when it came to customer satisfaction. If you don't think so we'll set up a poll and ask everyone.

You got my vote Bostonseo.

I strongly believe that Over / Yahoo are on a long downhill slide. I suspect that they will pick up more and more questionable partners in order to replace MSN. This can only hurt the ROI that we are able to gain today and in the end will sink them.

5 minutes to make a change to a single ad!

It was slow before the update, but still workable. Now I don't even want to log in I'm so frustrated.

Anyone notice their categories in some random order now? They used to be in an easy to view alphabetical order, but they've screwed that up as well.

One of my accounts has the keywords in a strange order - always used to be alphabetical!

At the moment I am very frustrated with Yahoo/Overture!

Their site is virtually unusable and hasn't worked close to their already low standards since last week. During normal times, I try to guess a time of day/night when the least amount of people are awake in the world so I can have some minimal functionality. But then they are usually doing maintenance for 6 hours or something. I won't bother rambling about my long list of complaints or that they don't offer simple free software to do stuff offline and click to "update" the changes. They don't realize they would make more money if I could actually use an interface. Now I just avoid it, only checking to see what I spent.

Allright things are even worse right now. I just spoke with my account manager who said 'well let me look this data up for you in another database we have'. 2 minutes later she gets back on the phone to say 'that database isn't working either'.

Thanks for wasting extra time with me on the phone.
