Yahoo is Really Pushing Advanced Match

So I created a second Yahoo account more for testing purposes for a client and for some reason the account was not online so I called support.

The FIRST thing they mentioned/asked was that the terms are not on Advanced match. They wanted to know why I changed to Standard match and then continued to try and 'upsell' me on how Advanced match has recently been improved.

I can't imagine it's that long until the MAKE you use Advanced match.

I just set up a new account and both advanced match and content match were turned on by default.

In the U.S.? I've never seen that. Next you're going to tell me that the new terms didn't default to the #1 position :)

Ha. I suppose the recent changes are an improvment to Yahoo's bottom line. They are not an improvement for any of my accounts there, nor, I would suspect, for most advertisers.
