We have been running with overture & adwords for about a year now. Just a few days ago, i decided it might be wise to split up our incoming traffic in logs so i can separate those coming from sponsored clicks as oposed to those coming form unpaid listings. In order to do this all that was needed was to include a prefix to every Keywords' URL both in Overture and Google Adwords.

Went into Adwords, changed the whole thing in under 15 minutes, tested, all working beautifully.

Went into Overture, went through about 20 categories, each with about 10-20-30 keywords, changed every keyword's URL, took me about half an hour. Ok now im thinking it might take a while for this to get changed... Next day i come in... Only some URL's changed, most stayed the same. So i start resubmitting again, changing ones that werent changed. Do them all again, fire off an email to Overture telling them how i dont want to change any more URLs and if they could put in the prefix on every single keyword for me.
No reply. That was yesterday.
Got an auto generated email today saying how all the submitted changes were made.
Went in i swear they are the same that they were yesterday... I just spent another half an hour changing them all. This is absolute and utter c**p. You pay them well over 40 grand /month and their customer service sucks...

Great Job Overture....

You were spending 40k per month without tracking the traffic for a whole year? Just an observation! ;)

mmm yes... unfortunately noone was there to dedicate time to SEO or to follow the logs on a day-day basis...

It's pretty easy to notice which keywords are used from paid listings and which are unpaid so we havent bothered... Now we had a breakthrough in google (unsponsored) so we have to do this...

If you are spending that kind of money each month why don't you have an assigned account manager? Also the online submission tool has it's issues (as I'm sure you are aware) I would send multiple updates to Overture via an excel spreadsheet.

They should roll out the red carpet for over 40K a month! Especially since search marketing is exploding and there are so many available options out there...
