Targeting numerous keyword combinations with one listing

I have a very speicific question as it relates to Overture:

Objective: I would like to target every city within the state of California for a particular keyword phrase. For example, I want to target:

San Diego california widget producer
Burbank california widget producer
Riverside california widget producer
Los Angeles california widget producer
etc.
etc.

Instead of creating thousands upon thousands of listings for each city, I'm assuming (hopefully) that I can create one listing that can target:

ANY_WORD california widget producer

Its like I need an asteriks (*) before the word California to represent any keyword used before it.

I hope I have made myself clear, and I look forward to any help you can provide. How is this accomplished within my Overture account?

Isn't that the whole idea of Overture Local Match. The problem is that the radius only goes up to 100 miles. I wonder if the Local Match department might have a solution to your problem. My cordinator at Google said that he had a tool that listed all the good sized towns & cities in a given geo area.

Let me know if you need the contact info for Local Match.

that is the theory behind broad matching

"widgets california producer"

with broad match on should match any query with those three words in it including

"San Diego california big producer of widgets"

You can even filter out words like 'free' or 'samples'

But that is just the theory and works *some* of the time for *most* queries.

In practice you are best to find a list of cites, concatenate them with your terms in excel or w.h.y. and tehn bulk upload them to overture 100's at a time.
