Ads not showing up on Yahoo Search

but Overture is charging me for clicks....

I've been having a lot of trouble getting my ads approved by Overture's editorial team. Most recently they have decided that we are a blocked site, due to the nature of our content, and we are not allowed to run ads with them. However, a handful of our keywords have somehow been approved and are still online, according to our Manage Listings page. And we are being charged for a few clicks a day... but whenever I do a search on Yahoo, NONE of our ads come up. Is this just because of our budget? Is there any way to verify that our ads are indeed showing up? These mysterious clicks certainly do not seem to be converting very well....

You should check [alltheweb.com...] and see if your ads are showing up over there. That would explain the impressions/clicks.

Yahoo! and MSN doesn't accept certain content, while their search partners do. In some instances, Overture will approve the ad, yet only display you on the search partners willing to display that content.

Hmmm. Still not finding my ads anywhere. Maybe I should just give them a call.... unless anyone has any other ideas what might be going on?

Without having all the details of your site, it's hard to provide a real valuable solution to your problem. I'd say your best bet is to contact customer support center through DTC or sticky mail me some of your account details and I'll do my best to get it in the appropriate hands.

Web ¦ Images ¦ Video ¦ Directory ¦ Local ¦ News ¦ Products

Please click on product, I am sure u will find your ads.

I wonder why my ads shown on product instead of web category, but it seems that I can't find any answer now.

If you don't face the same problem, then I don't know further.

Exactly. An example is ammunition. Yahoo won't run those ads but MSN will.

I would guess you're not seeing you ads becuase the Overture click spam script has decided that you computer has already clicked on the result once (maybe more) and that by not showing your ad they are saving your account from recording multiple clicks from the same computer.

If you can delete your cookies and change your IP you'll see your ads.
Better still wander down to your local internet cafe and have a look
