In light of the recent Google API release, we're reviewing what we're doing with Ovt. Their API has apparently been around since 2001 according to Danny Sullivan yet we've never used it so far.

API details are here:

We've a couple of Gold clients with Ovt and I was wondering if anyone's got any experience to share about using their API? Is it free to use if you're the advertiser or do you have to pay the same as the likes of approved partners such as Atlas etc?

TIA
J

If you're the advertiser, you can usually get the API for free or a discounted price.

Overture does treat agencies the same as tool sets, so there is no discount for agencies who are spending advertiser money.

The cost is based on a sliding scale CPM model, the more you spend, the cheaper the CPM is. There is a minimum spend of around $1500/month.
