I would go as far as to say that their statement is a bold faced lie. I've never seen the review process slower than it is right now.

Testify. Overture has really dropped the ball recently.

No, not nearly.

About 40% of so go through, and the majority of those are backwater keywords with nearly nil for traffic.

I would have to say that the editorial process varies significantly and may or may not be related to keyword popularity. I notice that sometimes an add will be approved the very same day, while others take 1 to 2 days, and ofcourse the ones that seem to take forever. If there are particular campaigns you'd like to get up faster i would give the customer service department a call. They have been helpful because sometimes things get overlooked.

90% here. I can submit 20 keywords and only have 1 maybe 2 get manual review.

Update..some of my listings are going through quicker, but the keyword here (pardon the pun) is SOME, maybe 30% to 40% if I'm lucky, I'll take that but they still take forever for my "money" listings, the ones that have the volume and conversions

I know our current vendor has "Diamond Status" with overture and thus, gets keywords and ads processed in 1-2 hours. I'm worried that when I take over the accounts and put them under my name, our status will do down. I'm planning on sending an email, but i'm guessing they don't give 'status' out on a regular basis.

Does anyone from Overture come in here like the AdWords guys do in that forum?

Same here. Low volume terms have been auto approved for months now. I see the same thing when making editorial changes to existing ads.

Not quite an hour, but close. Changes are getting made much less slowly than they used to.
