Don't want to lose my existing listing.

I haven't use overture in over three years, after switching to adwords, but now I will start using both.

Back when only the top three positions, were shown on the major search engine, the bidding got rediculous.

However now, if you are in position 6, you will get some page 2 traffic from the MSN and Yahoo, and it now appears worthwhile for us to explore Overture again.

In the past three years, I hear that Overture has gotten more stick on keywords and ads in general.

We have branded our website as a superlative.

ie. www.big_humongous_savings_on_widgets.com (you get the idea).

it used to be www.boring_name.ca

Since we have branded the superlative, we would like to use it in our title. We don't want the editorial review cause us to lose our existing listings.

What happens when an existing ad is modified, and rejected. Does it revert back to the pre-edited version or will they toss it.

We were also geting a lot of hassle for being a canadian site, and they wanted to have the description indicate that we were canadian. We list in US dollars and drop ship from the US, and the last thing we wanted to tell our potential customers, was the fact that we were a canadian company. They immediatly think customs hassle and look elsewere.

Any experience with the Overture editors regarding this.

If Overture is going to be a big hassle, I will just give more money to Google for adwords.

Good luck..

I don't think you will be able to use the superlative as the automated process catches it before a human editor even sees it.

If they have automatic rejection on superlatives, why does it still take 2-3 day to be rejected.

Actually the words are not technically superlatives, as they do not end in 'est' ie bigest fastest cheapest.

So can I say 'cheap widgets' and get away with it, while 'cheapest widgets' would not.
