I still don't get the Overture offer.
Is a PPC? Where exactly appear your ads?
Information on it's website is about 2003 year. I guess is pretty old...

What is the cheapest way to try it?
Google let's you pay 0,05 with no minimum.
What about overture?

Do you recommend it?

Overture outperforms GAW for some advertisers, it just depends on your vertical market.

Overture's two major distribution channels for precision match are: Yahoo & MSN. (They are the sponsored ads surrounding the Organic Listings, though MSN has their own sponsored ads for some keyword searches)...

Minimum bid is $.10 US for the US market, other markets vary on minimum bid.

silverbytes,

You are looking at this backwards... :)
The volume of traffic that is available at the minimums is minimal...

What you should be looking at is how much traffic is available that converts within an acceptable CPA(Cost Per Action). Action being sale, lead, etc..

You may find it is acceptable to pay up to $.50 a click for certain keywords because your cost per sale/lead for this keyword is lower than your acceptable target.

I confess don't understand much about it, but I reach them actually with 0,05 why should I pay more for same traffic or what makes you think paying overture will generate more traffic and finally sales? Is because the diversity?

Can I add one more question:

Are there any restrictions for Agencies in running client campaigns?

Something rings a bell from a long time ago that they wouldn't allow an Agency to manage a campaign on behalf of a client?

Assuming you can do this, is it best to run one main account with multiple client sub accounts, or open a separate account for each client?

How do you all do it?

Thanks

MarkD, agencies are allowed to manage clients accounts and there are a few ways of handling things.

You can add numerous accounts to a main login and still be able to provide seperate access if the client wanted to login. One benifit of having a main login with the sub accounts is that your total spend is now seen by Overture as under one account, which can help you move up to different levels and get their bulk upload tool as well as enhanced customer support.

Thanks Werty - very helpful.

Should we tell Overture that we are an agency from the start - is the 'sub account' system and being able to hand the login over to a client if required all part of the standard services when you open an account?

Thanks again
