Overture Ambassador program?

Anyone able to elicit a response from the good folks there?

We are trying to engage Overture in a discussion about the Ambassador program outlined on their site. Our aggregate spend well qualifies us, by the criteria they mention.

Has anyone here had any luck with the program? I did a site search and found no discussion of it at all -- does it even exist?

Thanks much!

The program really does exist.

Right now, Overture is in the midst of reshuffling support for Ambassadors and their other tiered support systems.

The support isn't necessarily based on spend, they are also doing some qualifying based on what other Overture products you're using as well.

Interesting. Any ideas on what other products we should be using, to merit their attention?

Thanks for the response, too!

Anything that gives $$ to Overture :)

The marketing console is huge for them right now. They're really trying to push their tool sets.

If you spend a lot of sitematch, include that when you tell OV your accounts, it counts towards your spend and client lists.

I've made two inquiries with Overture about this last year. Neither got a response.

I know I'm a little late here but...I can also vouch for the fact that the Overture Ambassador Program definitely exists. :)

The program was actually launched in 2001 for SEMs and just opened up to interactive and traditional agencies last fall.

There are three levels (Ambassador, Certified Ambassador, Strategic Provider) and like eWhisper mentioned above, your level within the program depends on several things…depth of search marketing experience, Overture product expertise, quality of customer service, and sophistication of campaign measurement tools.

Here's a link to some more info on our site.

As far as getting in contact with them - you can always email ambassadorteam@overture.com or better yet, stickymail me with your info and I’ll make sure you get in touch with the right people.

Hope this helps.
