Acronyms

Anyone here able to have all capitals?

I'm getting so frustrated with Overture. Out of my couple of hundred adverts a fair few (25-30) have acronyms in either the heading or description. I noticed that a few months ago all the ads had changed from 'WIDGET' (as they'd happily been running for a year) to 'Widget'.

My 2 big problems with this are:
1. My potential customers will look at the ads and wonder why industry standard acronyms look rubbish and will be less prompted to click
2. Some of my competitors are running ads, right above and below mine, where 'WIDGET' is still all nice and capitalised.

Three times I've called up the UK Overture customer services and explained the issue, each time being promised it'd be taken care of but guess what..All 3 times within a day or so my WIDGETS go back to Widget. I'm running out of patience, any ideas?

p.s. The last time I asked Overture CS to change the ads back to how I wanted them they managed to not only pause my entire account, but when they re-instated it they erased all my categories - hours of work down the pan. Not professional.

Have you tried spelling them as W.I.D.G.E.T.S?

I haven't because they are always written as and referred to as WIDGETS and not W.I.D.G.E.T.S.

I'll give it a go though and see what they look like. Thanks

I have had a couple changed when they were submitted and these are well known acronyms. I haven't bothered to change them as they are receiving a decent CTR and the other ads are the same.
