Can someone please help! we are experiencing serious problems with Overture and getting very little assistance from them.

At present we are trying to update the bid prices for all the listings relating to one particular url. However it is very slow (we tried it in 3 web browsers) and keeps saying it is an internal error!

Has anyone ever come across this and if so what did you do? Or even have any of you any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome to the wonderful world of Overture where the slowness of their servers is only matched by the difficulties in dealing with them.

We have not been able to log-in to the advertiser center all weekend. Did I miss a notice of a shut down this weekend? All I'm getting is a 404 page.

The good news is that I've saved all sorts of time not waiting for pages to load.

As of a few minutes ago it appears to be working.

To Miss_Chatterbox:

You might try deleting all cookies related to Overture and starting afresh. Also be sure to use the "Log out" button at the top right when you finish every session especially if you have more than 1 account.

thanks but that doesn't seem to be working either! Thankfully I have not had the chore of updating the bids for the 30,000 categories which is still currently being done!

You would think that a simple request could be undertaken at the Overture Direct Traffic Centre but instead you are told that they will TRY to prioritise your request whilst taking other calls!

Surely they have a better method of dealing with such issues!
