Just finished a user survey for Overture.
It really clarified just how poor the Overture service is.
One of the questions was how long do you spend maintaining your Overture/Google account per week.
I answered
Overture = 2 hours
Google = 30 Hours
Overture = Logon/wait/Listing/wait/View Report = 2 days old/Budget = 1 unit - report two days later = spend 5 units = no refund for over delivery/Change Ad/Keyword = 3-5 wait :)
After 5 mins I've had enough and go and do something more productive.
Affilate listing - You either except these or you don't. With Overture it depends who reviews your ad. Then when it is accepted if you want to tweak the ad then its back to the random editors.
Google = Logon/Change ad/Listing live = 5mins/Budget - 1 unit - Ads delivered - 5 units - refund 4 units.
No wonder I spend my monthly Overture budget in a day on Google.
