Overture and google .. repeat content penalties

Does google penalise you for advertizing in Overture?

Hello all,

Ive just had a look at some of the results that I am receiving from a newly (last 2 months) set up account with Overture.

I was shocked the see my page with www.mysite/mypage/?source=Overture come up as a PR3 page and www.mysite/mypage/?source=Overture come up as it has done over the last few years as PR5. Does this mean google sees the advertizing links as new information? Is this why my site has dropped like a Led Zeplin in ranking?

Anyone have similar probs?

oops .. sorry .. second url should be www.mysite/mypage/

I doubt google has the overture tracking link indexed. More likely that is an estimated PageRank based off of your main sites PageRank.

I've seen content match links from Overture showing up as backlinks in Google.
