Overture affiliate listings OK now?

I just saw a site (affiliate) link right to a merchant

Is overture now allowing affiliates links directly to a merchant?

I just saw one - they used to force you to direct listing to your own site

Yes - and if u call them they will usually apply what they call a "masking" URL, rather than the aff link URL, a bit like Adwords' display URL.
