Overture View Bids tool

Am I missing something?

I'm just starting with Perry Marshall's "Definitive Guide to Google Adwords", and the first example I want to follow uses Overture's View Bids tool.

No matter what I type in as a search term, I always get: "Currently, there are no bidded listings on this term. Your site could be listed under this term for as little as $0.10 per click (subject to editorial relevance review)."

Is this thing down? Down a lot? Am I missing something?

Yes, I am entering the check-code.

TIA

OK thanks for letting me know. It's not just me then.

Skip that page and on to the next example...

That happens a lot with the Overture bid tool - sometimes by clicking "Search" a couple of times fixes it.

In addition to hitting search more than once (which usually works), I find that bookmarking a results page with a session id brings up searches easier than going to the main view bids page.

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Bit pathetic though, isn't it?

They'd have to know about it --- maybe they just don't care.
