Overture compared to Google is a nightmare. It took 8 days to get them to review our ads. Then when I had to change one word of the text to meet their editorial demands, it took another 5 days. Then when I changed the url to reflect a new landing page for a brand new promotion we are running, there is another 5 day delay.

Any time you make a change, no matter how small- you need to wait and wait for a review. Overture does not tell you this when you sign up. My google account was running immediately. When I had to change something during editorial problems, the change was approved immediately and I was back in business. Change a url, no problem, instantly completed. I can also run multiple ads, have multiple accounts and track all of them.

It has been 21 days now, and I still have not run one ad via Overture. I have asked for a refund and closed my Overture account. How hard do I have to work to be able to give Overture our marketing dollars?

How does this company stay in business? Why would anyone want to do business with them or be able to do business with them? I suppose if you never change your ad, or your url, or add keywords, you are fine.

Given the way we market, and test- it just doesn't work for me. So be forewarned if you need to make frequent modifications to anything about your PPC campaign. Overture may not be a good option for you!

I just don't understand the business logic behind how they are doing things- it makes no business sense at all. They are losing millions of dollars when customers wait and wait and wait to display their ads. Has anyone had a good experience with this company?
