Hi,

I'm wondering where Overture gets the results from when you go and use their 'how often has this term been searched for in the last 60 days"?
Is it one search engine, a combination of search engines, just the searches that have the relevant Overture ads displayed on the pages?

What percentage of total internet search activity does this Overture search term frequency make up?

Cheers

OV is 30 days and WT is 60 days. They get those terms from Yahoo and it's other partners. The OV tool is not very acurate. They may show widgets having 100,000 but they are countgin widget, widgets, and whenever the widget bidders come up for broad match. I like WT way better. OV has it's uses but WT is a way better tool. If you look at both it will drive you mad because they are so very different. They are just aproxamations. You can have 2 different terms that get 4000 clicks in OV and you can rank number one for both you might get 900 clicks on one and 300 on the other. The best stats are your own. Whatever number you see on either never thank you will get that many clicks if you can get number one for it.
