first, they changed my titles, making my listing false and opening me up for a lawsuit by another company. then, after talking to them, they tell me the title for certain listings MUST contain the term.

while i'm on the phone with the guy, i run a search for the term and sure enough, the #1 and 2 spots don't have the term in the title or the description. however, those two terms were running at a pretty high rate for the term. i was the 3rd listing and know the traffic 1 and 2 were getting, so i know what they were paying daily.

when i bring this up he got very short with me. all i said to him was that if they're going to enforce rules, they need to do it for all and not look at the bid price. and the thing i don't understand, i was paying a ton of $$ on that term daily. now my listing is offline (waiting to see what title they'll actually approve and not mess with) and the number 2 got out. price went from 3 vendors paying about $3pc to the high bid still at 3, but only paying .75

I love the fact that they change things without notifying their advertisers.

Someone at my company almost got fired for changing all of the descriptions. He denied it and we thought he was lying. Then we realized that Overture actually made the changes.

That's a very good story.

They changed my titles to things that have absolutely nothing to do with my website.

Crazy crazy crazy.
