Just a REALLY basic question. Does overture let you set a max budget, so you don't spend more than a certain amount per month. Sorry - I've never done PPC as an advertiser, and couldn't find this on their FAQ's. Saw the minimum was $20, though.

Overture works differently than adwords.. With overture, instead of paying after you recieve the traffic (like adwords), you put in a deposit ahead of time. By default this would allow you to limit your monthly spend by just depositing your budget. They also have options to automate the process with a set monthly charge to your cc.

OK - thanks for the reply. I guess just to dip my feet in, it would probably be best to start with that minimum $20, see what the results are, and go from there.

If you opt to get invoice by Overture you can set a monthly spending limited.
I am pretty sure you need to be a decent sized spender to get invoiced, however.
