Overture Broadmatch

Is it working at all right now?

Everytime I search Y for an Overture broadmatch or phrase match recently, I'm not finding any results a lot of times unless there is also an exact match bid.

Sometimes these queries are very specific, and might have low search volume, but there are still phrase and broad match advertisers for some of the words I'm searching for.

Does OV use a filter to determine if no ads should be shown?

A search for: tax return blahblah should return results as there are people bidding on phrase and broad match phrase 'tax return' but it brings no results at all.

This always occured to an extent in the past, but it seems much tighter these days.

Last I checked with an Overture rep only a couple of their search partners were using broad match.

Altavista was one and I believe Lycos as well. To my knowledge Yahoo has not brought on overutre's broad match "technology" yet.
