I've been trying to do this by watching the a/c balance and taking listing offline but the a/c balance still drops after I do this.
This would suggest that the a/c balance is not current or that links don't go offline immediately. Which of these is true?
I was thinking that it is the a/c balance that is not accurate because once I go offline I only see the odd hit on my site via Overture but the balance can still drop considerably.
If the balance can be considerably out of date then that would suggest you need to keep quite a high balance to keep clicks coming as you may actually run out of funds but the balance shows positive.
An example of what I'm seeing is when the balance is say £100 and I enable my listings about 6pm in the evening then take them offline when the balance hits £50 at about 11pm. When I look at the balance the next morning it is usually close to zero.
Anyone have any experience of this and how you can limit the effect?
