Overture and WhenU

Overture is now being pulled into WhenU contextual pop ups for keyword searches. Funny how they dont mention this in their site.

It's interesting that there is an AdWord for Spyware Remover Software when you search Google for WhenU.

I think OV's new content bidding option is to bring back a lot of users who have stopped using content because of Claria (formally Gator) and paid email links. The fact OV shows up on WhenU, just reinforces the fact they want money - not good partners.

At the rate they're adding partners, they'll need to change the content bidding to each individual partner so people can pick and choose where they want exposure, as people are still not going to pay for a lot of the content traffic OV is sending.
