Overture Conversion Tool

Anyone use it?

Do any of you use the conversion tool to see how many of signups, sales, etc. from the clicks from Overture's results?

Also, does anyone think that the conversion tool is a good thing or bad thing? In other words, wouldn't this be a good way to see if your ROI is working for these particular keywords that are being generated through Overture?

We have used it for about 6 weeks. We also use the adwords tool. I Think they are fine as tools. The question is what you do with the info.I have yet to read a thread of positive surprise. I think the ROI is worse than anyone can imagine.

After about a month or so of watching the reports and new customers we will have do decide to either take out the keywords that do not bring in new customers, or stay with the current model. It would not make sense for us to stay with either of them if the return does not bring in a suitable amount of new accounts.

Atleast, that is my opinion, I could be wrong.

I do not use their tool, but I do track conversions using my own scripts. OV conversions continue to fall like a rock. IMHO, the days of PPC are nearing an end.

I use conversion tracking tool from overture and have found it to be useful. As long as you're comfortable with them having all that data, why not. To me it wasn't an issue
