On Oct 27th our OV campaign had a HUGE increase in the number of impressions. I am talking about 5 times the daily average. While the click thru's only doubled, why was there such a jump in impressions. The increase is for several dozen keywords and appears to be across the board.

Has anybody else noticed the same thing?
Did OV sign up some new partners?
Has OV gone insane?

Why do they not simply stop serving ads once the account reaches $0?

I think often their system is so far behind, they don't realize your account is at 0. They verify clicks before they charge your account, so if you have a lot of clicks in the queue to be checked which would make your account balance $0, and then receive more clicks - those clicks won't be paid for.

It makes you wonder if you should just add a small amount several times a day to your account and see how many free clicks you can end up with...

I was one of the first clients at GoTo when it started. I loved the fact that you could go into the system 2 or 3 times a day and play with the bids. I wouldn't even think of doing that now. I have a life outside Over.

It takes soooo long to check my 4 accounts once a day and causes me so much frustration with the lack of reports that I just have to back away from it. I've cut the number of terms to about 1/3 of what I started with just to save time trying to manage them.

On the other hand dealing with the AdWords interface, once you learn it, is such a pleasure of speed and information.

It makes you wonder how slack a company Over really is. I remember the problems Sprinks used to have and the fun we all had tearing a strip off them for having problems that they never seemed able to correct. Over is now on the same level.
