All these issues have to be related to the phrase/broad match in my opinion. I guess this has to be fixed before yahoo/msn use it. (Sigh)

I remember when I LOVED Overture and talked them up glowingly. After the redesign this summer I've lost all respect from a business perspective. What a headache they are now.

It's almost as though the head honchos are not aware of the problems.

Do you suppose the people who are responsible for screwing it up are keeping it compartamentalized (wish there was a spell check).

Well I personally left a voicemail on the CEO's phone 2 weeks ago. I think they know the site is down frequently.

What's funny is the orange box (REPORTS UPDATE DELAY:) on the login page is so common, I tend to ignore it. I'll probably end up with some reverse "boy who cried wolf" problem in the future, but to my brain it's almost part of the standard login page...

I used to check our reports every morning and then adjust our bids depending on the previous day's traffic.

Now with reports hardly ever been less than 48 hours old and the interface being so darn slow I've given up (we have 4 accounts). I just check the balance in our account every morning and if nothing too startling has happenned I move on.

I've even found time for some extra golf. Let's see - growing old waiting for Over's pages to load or playing golf? Golf wins!

I'm the same way. I only notice when the box isn't there. Did notice it today though, says something about a delay? it's not like there's ever not a delay, so i'm assuming i won't notice anything different.

Here's this morning's good news:

Account Modification Delays We are experiencing delays in account data propagation. Modifications to accounts made via DTC will not reflect current changes. We are currently working on a resolution to this problem. This should only affect US markets.

This is beyond funny!

I can't believe there isn't more outrage!

Where else can you spend tens of thousands and be treated like someone is doing YOU a favor?

Funny, I never have a problem adding money to my account. That part of the DTC always seems to be fast and reliable.

This morning the Direct Traffic Center is showing 10,000+ impressions for yesterday on one of our campaigns. The previous high was last Monday when there were 4,000+ impressions.

As we have made no changes and our posistions are virtually static my curiousity is peaked.

Click on the date to see the results for yesterday and get "no results". Talk about frustrating. All I can think is that their numbers got doubled in error but who knows. What a mickey mouse outfit!

Tropical - our impressions where way out of wack too. I am just going to start my overture process in the afternoon now - tired of wasting time.

I have an ad that had been showing for a long time, the impressions jumped from 5k a day to 10k a day a couple weeks ago. My clicks/day didn't change. My CTR didn't change. This isn't possible. The impressions and CTR overture is giving us in the DTC isn't anywhere near accurate, and hasn't been for a couple weeks now.

They've now taken the results for yesterday down and replaced them with Sunday's (the 26th).

Still no results for the 27th. They always seem to keep the account balance up to date though.

I know it's frusterating. I do take solice in the fact that my competitors are having the same issue, so it's a draw.

In my mind, all these issues are due to broad/phrase match. Guess it's been too much to handle and we got spoiled.

Hmmm, there it is again:

I thought I saw current day stats for the 28th today (the 29th), but alas...back to the 27th being "today"...

Comparing this with Google AdWords' near real time updates is kinda scary.

Just checked - the front page of DirectTraffic is showing the 27th with 12,000 impressions. The daily summary for the 27th shows 13,000+ impressions. Both these numbers are whacko seeing as the previous high was slightly over 4,000. Also the clicks for the 27th are also bouncing around from 57 yesterday to 63 today. How can we trust them to have the right numbers?
