Overture takes Inktomi results for "Additional Listings". But what %?

I am sure many of you have noticed what I have noticed rather recently.

Till recently, I used to see the Inktomi pure results (as on search.PT), in the same order in Overture "Additional Listings" and MSN "Websites". I never advised anyone to pay for inclusion in Ink, since they will get crawled anyhow, and with good optimization, used to get good ranks in Ink and hence in Overture and MSN (additional listings).

But now I am seeing entirely different results in Overture "Additional Listings" and obviously ditto in MSN too. My understanding is that, the sites which come up may be the sites which have paid for inclusion in Ink (not sure!). But a rather discouraging observation is, sites which are ranked at the top in Ink are nowhere in Overture results. Had to initiate this thread since I noticed this trend across websites. So, where are we heading?

Comments please.

Are they filtering out results that already appear in the Overture results, to avoid repetition? It would be a sensible idea.

Haven't anyone lost bundles of ranks in Overture/MSN recently? Surprising!
