Pretty neat, this is where they first talked about the Local Search [webmasterworld.com], which has gotten much attention here at WebmasterWorld.

It also talks about these 3 other technologies:

Cluster Graphing
It shows you how closely related words/phrases are. It is pretty interesting how it works, It would be nice if you could input 2 words and it would chart them on there.

Open Source Search
Gives a link to [nutch.org...] which is a new(?) open source search engine in the developement stage.

Concept Discovery
Pretty cool. It will show you what phrases are popular in the last day or in the last week. Also allows you to check the history of it. Google Zeitgeist [google.com].

Nice find. The cluster thing is kinda neat. It reminded me of how cool Kartoo [kartoo.com] and Vivisimo [vivisimo.com] are to play around with.
