When I log into my account, I get the "Account Summary" screen that shows todays date, the impressions, clicks, ctr, cost per click etc.
So then I click on the entry for todays date. It shows "select report type" and Account activity detail is selected for todays date.
The detail shows "No matching data was found". If I change to yesterdays date, I then see some data.
It says Sep 3 and under search term it says New Term. It shows this for 4 entries. How am I supposed to know which term is getting the clicks from this info?
If I click on the "New Term", I get No matching data.
This is really annoying and I'm paying for this?
Maybe I'm stupid and don't know what I'm doing.
Please help if you can, thanks
What a MM company Overture is becoming. It's such a joy to go to Google and get updated reports to within a few hours. Sure they have the odd glitch every couple of months or so but it is quickly corrected.
This sure does show on what level of importance the Overture advertiser falls in the whole scheme of their management thinking. We are definately on the bottom of the totem pole and we're the ones paying all the bills.
The report problem started a while ago, they were updating their click through fraud protection, which was causing a delay in reports as they didn't want to show raw numbers and then once clicks were removed, show them again, so their new system is holding up numbers until it can analyze them all (at least this is what the OV rep told me a few weeks ago), and they are still trying to work out the bugs in the system.
The reports are finally up. It is necessary to drill through 7 different pages to get to the "match type view" of yesterday's results. The programmer is obviously not a user. The problems are that the sytem does not automatically default to the most obviuos choices. If I have "word match" chosen wouldn't I want to see that page when I click on the report? It's not necessary to make we wait while the other pages load just to get me there.
Over is really pissing me off and they are getting slimier every day.
