Difficulty Changing Bids on Overture

crashes IE every time

Anyone else having this problem? Everytime I try to change a bid, IE crashes. Been going on all day. I'm reluctant to contact OV about this, because I know they're all under a lot of stress right now and I don't want to add to it if this is a known problem already.

No- I just tried it and you have to wait along time but it eventually works. Try clearing your cache by deleting temporary files and cookies (tools-internet options). Should help I think along with patience.

Oh... and go ahead and stress them out by calling when you have a problem if you can find that number... 866-www-over I think. You pay for the service, remember?

I had this problem if I tried to look at 100+ words per page on an older system. If I changed the look to 40 words/page or used a newer system, then IE ceased to freeze. On a sitenote, with 200 words/page on an old system, Phoenix (mozilla build) didn't have any problems at all.
