PPC Basics

I have looked over the great info in the Google optimization basics thread and am using that with great results. I am curious if there is something similar to that for Overture. I have never really used PPC, so I am looking for something that will give me the basics that I need to get started. Could someone direct me to this? Thanks!

You certainly do not need a 'guide' to start off with the basics of Overture & other PPCs. Visit Overture and open an account there. Look around and get familiar with its listings and reporting interface. They also have material on how exactly PPC advertising works, bidding strategies etc.
