I know this is deliberately prevented, but does anyone know of way of automatically logging in to Overture WITHOUT having to guess those securtiy numbers? Perhaps through an alternate URL or variable in the URL?

Yes I know it is probably not possible but if anyone has found a workaround, I would like to automate the downloading of my reports, not the bid changes so if this is possible by any means, I'd be very greatful for your help...

TIA

Ben.

Well, I suppose there must be a way to do it b/c there are a couple of programs out there that will automatically handle your bids for you on OV.

Have you looked into one of those? They might be able to download your reports as well as managing bids.

Contact Overture and tell them you would like to develop your own script to change bids (even if you are only doing reports). They will then give you a special url and ask you to sign an agreement saying you will not update more than X number of times a day. You should then have access to the reports, and you can d/l them whenever you like.

(At least that is what they used to do; I assume they still do it this way. Anyone know for sure?)
