Is it possible to know how much customers pays for keywords?

Hello all,

I guess this question is already discussed and I get answer "no" still ...

I would like to have the stats that shows 3 columns:
1) keyword
2) average bid price
3) number of clicks (or number of searches)
4) revenue = average bid * number of clicks(or nuber of searches)
It shall reflect any period ... for example 1 month.
And it shall reflect ALL keywords and ALL or some of them(representative selection) of users.
In fact I need just top 1000 filtered by revenue.

I guess averybody needs it in order to evaluate different markets ... and it is very usefull information to get started in new business.

So is it possible to get it or to get similar information, possibly about other SE?

I think the only way to get that kind of information is do start digging into Overture, FindWhat, etc to see how much people's bid prices are on the various keywords.

Data as specific as you are asking about -> nobody that is participating in that business would willingly 'give away' as it's highly sensitive info, I would imagine.

*if* you are already into a market, what you could do to get started 'sleuthing' the stats would be to start claculating what % of people click the 1st listing, the 2nd, the 3rd, etc - and on down the page.

Then, start measuring what % of people click multiple listings / search.

After that, go to the overture keyword tool / or word tracker / or similar and take a stab at the 'monthly volume' for that particular keyword or phrase.

From there, once you have that much data on the spreadsheet, it should be relatively easy to come up with the rest...

No short cuts on this one, I'm afraid. :)
