My site is somehow listed in a few spammy page that with title "Totally free [mykeyword]"

The supply of the listing is via roar and somehow the listing is supply by looksmart.

I received a lots of click but never convert into sales because visitor is expecting free [mykeyword].

my keywords and description has never mention anything about free [mykeyword] and yet it is group under free [mykeyword]

I am very disapointed with LookSmart service. Anyone experience this before, and how do you deal with it?

If they don't deliver ROI, don't pay them.

Voting with your credit card is the fastest way to make sure only the companies that drive real ROI are the ones left standing.

Personally, most people I know mention Overture, Adwords, and Findwhat - if they even go to a 3rd PPC provider.

I would concentrate on getting the most out of Adwords & Overture, especially Adwords, as they allow more flexibility in copy writing testing, etc...

I received email from Looksmart after making a complain. They support staff said the listing was spider by the spammer and they have no way to control it.

I have made my decision to stop the listing until the situation changed..

did they at least credit your account for the "the listing was spider by the spammer and they have no way to control it." part of the charges?

Nope, I asked, they were trying to explain the situation and did not refund those junk clicks.

well at least they were honest about it :)

but that's just wrong not to offer a refund if they know the clicks aren't legit
- makes one wonder how big the problem is

We just had another month with one site - L$ charged for just under 1000 clicks. Script tracking system in the header showed 424 for MSN and LookSmart combined.

Thee is no way that "other partners" sent more traffic than MSN, NO WAY.
