Hi all

I have a problem with my espot campaign. I am constantly seeing clicks being deducted from my balance that I cannot trace on my independent real-time stats. Ive noticed this only recently and cannot say whether there is a flaw with my stats provider (its a basic online tool but is well regarded) or whether there are simply some Espot gremlins that prevent you from seeing the whole picture.

The fact is that you should be able to account for every click and right now I cant. Today for example Im £30 down yet my stats which reveal the search term and referrer state an approx £5 cost. Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone else explain this anomaly? Im awaiting a response from Espot themselves on this.

Just for info - not sure if this is common knowledge - I understand Espot are live testing a version of their new bid manager and user interface in Scandinavia. The new model amongst other things replaces the flawed auto-bid management tool. Due for launch 'sometime this year'. Not sure if we get any scandanavian operators on here or whether anyone knows more about what we can expect in the future from Espot? (apart from a min bid increase to mirror the Ov rip off and help to fund the new functionality!)

Thanks
Clancy

You can't trust a third party service for tracking your ppc campaigns. Even the best of them will be off by a minimum of 10%. Raw log file info is the only thing that even comes close. Be sure to use a unique destination url.
