I suppose the answer to this question depends on your purpose.

I imagine most of us paying PPC wouldn't say that there are more than 2 or 3 important PPC players...

That being said...try out Overture & Google Adwords and keep an eye on yer ROI.

I would have to agree with Quinn that Overture and Google Adwords would rank at the top of the list for PPC engines. If you can get your site in the top three listings on both of these, your results are going to show up on most other engines.

I would add espotting for the UK and maybe europe as well.

Ask.co.uk do a PPC varient that is good but you need to be a big spender as I think the min spend is about £1,000 a month.

Our experience is definately that Google AdWords and then Overture are the only consistent value in the PPC game. We also use FindWhat with varying results. We have listings in Sprinks to cover About.com and the only reason we stay there is because the monthly spend is so low that it's not worth cancelling it. The rest are not worth the time to monitor for our business.

Yep, for Europe Espotting is top on the list as well. As big as OV, more countries/languages on the list.

I am using Looksmart - they feed MSN, people forget how big MSN is.. 15 cents a click is a bargain!

I am getting quality traffic to the site in my profile.
