well, i finally bit the bullet and gave in to increasing my monthly budget from $15 worth of free clicks to $15 worth of free and $15 of my own money for 200 clicks on MSN....i thought looksmart was going to discontinue the free click thingy months ago. the question for me is, now that i have given in, will they discontinue the free clicks OR have they learned from their mistakes and are trying to do the right thing?

If you were a legacy customer of Looksmart which it appears you are........you will receive free clicks until Dec 2003

I just increased one of my accounts as well but have gotten nothing out of it yet. I am going to try to talk to them. This site used to get great numbers from looksmart and has been suffering since the change.

I finally figured it was time to go for it and pay up but it hasn't worked out quite how I was hoping, yet.

Jatar...............maybe you should look at your keywords and see how they are being ranked as Wisenut now is ranking search results in terms of relevancy on Looksmart.

Furthermore if you need to change keywords etc........LOOK have just introduced a lower cost of $19 down from $49 for any changes to your keywords etc.

Of course for any "new" listings you have 30 days to make changes for free.
